  • Expo - 2008  The Coalition Expo - 2008 featured tables of 51 groups and organizations of New York State, on August 25 and 26, 2008 at The Hudson Valley Resort, in Kerhonkshon, NY.

  • Dimensions served over 13,000 meals in 2008

  • Recovery Mentors started in 2008

  • January 1, 2005 The Empowerment Center was awarded a substantial grant from The New York State Office of Mental Health.  The Empowerment Center in conjunction with the Mental Patients Liberation Alliance has formed the Alliance Empowerment Coalition.  The initiative was to infuse the recovery of mental health through groups and organizations operated and governed by people who are or have received mental health services.  Since 2008, the Alliance Empowerment Coalition, out of practical application necessity, became a single initiative governed and  operate solely by The Empowerment Center.
